The second of two web comics by Jacob Patterson for A Show Called Kicks depicts Calvin’s adorable six-year-old logic giving him the ups he needs to emulate the basketball legend.
Patterson on the strip: Growing up on basketball and illustration, I wanted to write something for the shoes that reflected my own youth. I used to watch Jordan play with my dad then go outside and pretend I could do those things on the playground. The Jordan IIs were also the first J’s I ever bought so I had to use this dunk.
The shoes on which these pieces of fan fiction are placed will debut in the next few days on the ASCK blog. Keep an eye out!
