NIKE AIR FOAMPOSITE ONE “GALAXY” CAMPOUT MINI DOC
After the Concords dropped to a riotous affair, campouts for sneakers haven’t reached the same level. The media latched onto the Jordan XI “Concord” violence as a way to demonize a sub-culture a bit, and with the Foamposite “Galaxy” lines already starting as early as 10 days prior to the launch, the sentiment is one of active peace between fellow sneakerheads.
There is still an entire day until the shoe comes out, and from the campouts I have done, we all know that the last few hours are the times when bad things potentially happen. When tension runs high from someone that has waited a week only to be cut in front of at the last second by some douche and his friends, problems happen.
Let’s hope that nothing like the reported deaths from the Concord release happens this time around, and just be happy that a shoe that has already seen releases in other colorways is garnering this much excitement in streetwear communities.
