GUCCI X FIAT 500 “DIVERGENCE” DIR. BY ALEXI TAN
In an interesting collaboration for the brand, Italian fashion company Gucci has taken their top-notch style and converted it in an automobile with the Fiat 500 by Gucci. To make things more interesting, they have teamed up with rising filmmakers to create a series of conceptual short films about the collaboration. Hypebeast reports:
The five films — inspired by and showcasing the Fiat 500 by Gucci — include work by Dazed & Confused and Another Magazine editor-in-chief Jefferson Hack, NOWNESS film director Chris Sweeney, Purple fashion magazine editor-in-chief Olivier Zahm, Vogue Italy editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani, and Chinese film director Alexi Tan. Tan is a modern Chinese feature film director whose work has been featured at the Venice International film festival, and his film “Divergence” is about two lovers (played by China’s rising stars Feng Shaofeng and Xiong Naijin) whose secret affair is embodied by matching Fiat 500s by Gucci.
