NIKE ZOOM KOBE VII POISON DART FROG “MINT”

The Easter pack that is set to release in the coming weeks is full of nice drops, but none are smoother than the Nike Zoom Kobe VII Poison Dart Frog “Mint.” The shoes features mint-shaded spots in a poisonous amphibian pattern across the upper, with an homage to the animal that inspired the print in a silhouette on the back. The entire Nike Easter collection releases April 6th.

NIKE ZOOM KOBE VII “POISON DART FROG”
The Kobe VII has seen many different predators for inspiration in its design, from the shark to the cheetah, but its new design features a theme from a much more dangerous source, despite its status as prey. The Kobe VII “Poison Dart Frog” sports a mint candy base with black spots, and a black midsole with white outsole to match the frog’s pattern. Check back for release date.

NIKE ZOOM KOBE VII “INVISIBILITY CLOAK”

If you have the feeling that Kobe’s newest sneaker has been released in way more colorways than most major stars’ sneakers, it’s because you’re right. The Nike Zoom Kobe VII has come out in a ton of colorways, and it may be in large part due to the shifting nature of name brand sneaker culture being influenced by NikeID extensiveness and the increasing popularity of custom shoe design.

At any rate the Kobe VII “Invisibility Cloak” design dropped on February 18th for $140, and feature an iridescent upper that gives a look all at once of blue and deep purple, set above a clear outsole. The pattern on the tongue in heavy black works well with the design, as well. Pick these up today if you don’t feel you have put enough money into the pocket of the NBA’s biggest superstar.

NIKE BASKETBALL “GALAXY” COLLECTION SHOWDOWN
On February 24th, the much anticipated “Galaxy” pack drops from the Nike camp. After the Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy”s became one of the most coveted shoes in streetwear, sneakerheads are arguing over which of these three immensely popular models is the best look with the cosmic redesign.
While the Lebron 9 shoes don’t feature the interstellar print quite as predominately as the other two, all three of these sneaker designs are compelling in their own ways.
And from someone with behind the scenes access, I can tell you that the “Galaxy” print is the next trend in custom footwear hype bait. Trust me, you are going to see a lot of “Galaxy” customs in the very near future.

NIKE #KOBESYSTEM LEVEL 7: SUCCESS AT SUCCESS

Having done some work for him, and respecting him as one of the most inspring people to have ever swam to the bottom of the ocean and flown in outer space, I thoroughly enjoyed this video of Sir Richard Branson being brought down to Earth by Kobe in the newest video in this campaign.

NIKE #KOBESYSTEM LEVEL 6: BEASTION

Fans are calling this the best addition to the popular KobeSystem ad campaign yet. After making Tony Robbins apologize to Kanye for wasting two million dollars of his time, Kobe wastes more of it by confusing the hell out of him in this new video.

#KOBESYSTEM LEVEL FIVE: DOMINATION

Jerry Rice is one of the best football players in history. But he is retired. And Kobe ain’t having that while he teaches about everything from dominating art to dominating the Sun.

#KOBESYSTEM LEVEL FOUR: EXPLOSION

Inspirational speaker Tony Robbins has a thing or two to learn about explosiveness. Now apologize to Kanye West for wasting two million dollars of his time.

You’re welcome.

NIKE #KOBESYSTEM LEVEL THREE: PERCEPTION

Even Chinese singer, actor and dancer Wong Lee Hom can improve his level of success with the Kobesystem. After a confusing conversation with Kobe about the importance of perception, the international superstar finally understands what the Kobesystem can do for his success when success is not enough.
