RETNA MURAL AT HOUSTON AND BOWERY VIDEO

RETNA took a trip from one coast to the other to honor The Tony Goldman Wall at Houston and Bowery in New York City with a bold red and blue piece in his signature style. While we usually see subtle colors from the LA-based street artist, RETNA brought the color out in this mural that covers Brooklyn-based artist FAILE’s piece that had been up since October. A short video shows a beautifully choreographed process to create such a monumental piece.

THE BONEYARD PROJECT “RETURN TRIP” VIDEO

Appropriating decommissioned planes as canvases for some of the world’s best street artists to create upon, Eric Firestone and Carlo McCormick invited Retna, How & Nosm, Saner, and Nunca to their Tucson boneyard to create a piece for Tucson’s Pima Air & Space Museum, January 28 to May 31.

Director Viejas Del Mercado creates a series of three videos of the project from one man’s trash to another man’s treasure.
