TATESHOTS: FRANK BOWLING
TateShots and producer Nick Aldridge takes the opportunity in their latest short film to highlight the illustrious career of representational-turned-abstract artist Frank Bowling. The Guyana-born artist graduated from the Royal College of Art and moved shortly to New York City to establish himself as an important name in the history books. Bowling has a show on display now at Tate Britain titled “Poured Paintings,” which will be there until February of 2013 as part of the gallery’s “Migrations: Journeys Into British Art” series.
