PARRA - “WEIRDED OUT” MURAL TIME LAPSE VIDEO FROM SFMOMA

The mural at “Weirded Out” by Dutch artist Parra fills a huge wall in the SFMoMA with the artist’s signature sexy bird women. If you wanted an idea of how the artist pulls off his monochromatic style, you’re in luck because this time lapse video from the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art goes behind the scenes to see just how much work it took the artist over the several days in which he worked on the mural.

Holla Holland!

PARRA “WEIRDED OUT” MURAL INSTALLATION AT SAN FRANCISCO MUSEUM OF MODERN ART

Parra is one of ASCK’s favorite artists, and when he gets recognition on a large scale, we celebrate. The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art has become ‘weirded out’ this month, and they have released teaser images for a large and striking mural from the Amsterdam-based artist.

You can almost see the Amsterdam in the work of art that features his signature monochromatic, mutt-like creatures that meld birds and sexy ladies together in violence and cartoon style. The huge mural display is done solely in acrylic and opens March 31st, running into July. Find details below.
