AIR JORDAN XIII “HE GOT GAME” RERELEASE IN 2013

A pair of J’s that has seen limited retro releases, the Air Jordan XIII “He Got Game” colorway is a design that is coveted by many but rare to find. When Denzel Washington wore the sneakers in the Spike Lee Joint they became instant classics, and after a rerelease in the “10/13 Countdown Package” alongside the Shadow X’s in 2008, we have yet to see the pair again. Well, assuming we make it past the end of days, the much-desired sneaker will live on in your sneaker closet for a few more years, so expect to replace your old pair sometime in 2013 or snag it for yourself if you never got to pick it up in either prior release.

LEBRON X “CUTTING JADE”

The LeBron X is on its way, and the newest colorway to be detailed is rumored to be a China-exclusive. With Chinese history certainly ingrained in its makeup, the Cutting Jade colorway for the LeBron X is the most unique we have seen yet. The gem shade envelops the upper, while black and red details run across the laces, midsole, and branding. Expect details on the release shortly.

LEBRON JAMES DEBUTS LEBRON X

While we already knew what the LeBron X looks like, the shoe had not yet been officially debuted until Sunday, when the reigning MVP marched onto the court for what would mark his second gold medal wearing a U.S. flag-themed version of the sneaker. No news yet as to whether this will be the model we see hit stores when the shoes drop, but we can certainly count on this being one of the more coveted to start. The Zoom Max cushioning and Hyperfuse construction will make for Olympian performance, as well. More info on the LeBron X here as it arises.

AIR JORDAN X “OLD ROYAL”
Jordan brand continues its assault on your wallet after the much-anticipated release of the “Chicago” Js with their second installment in the line for 2012.
Despite the non-throwback status, these shoes will be a surefire hit when they drop on February 11th due to their very rockable colorway of a mainly white upper with hints of royal blue and tumbled leather. The “Old Royal” moniker gives them a retro feel despite the brand new-ness of the kicks, as well. See, that’s how they get ya.
If you’ve still got room in your sneaker closet and funds in your bank account, you can pick these up for the slightly lower price of $150 in a couple of weeks.

AIR JORDAN X GS “VIOLET POP”
2012 is starting out in an even more brutal fashion to sneakerheads’ wallets than last year. With the Air Jordan X “Chicago” official pics releasing today, Jordan brand wants fans to feel even more pressure going into the new year than we would have with only two must-cops. It makes me second guess my “must-cop” list.
The grade-school-directed “Violet Pops” feature a white leather upper with black details, and hints of yellow and purple along the top and bottom of the shoe. At slightly less than the “Chicagos,” this pairs $110 price point - along with that dope checker pattern on the sock liner - may just convince me to pick them up on January 21st while I prepare to head into the heavy-hitting months of February and January.
Does the unique colorway have you convinced to drop the extra cash this month?

AIR JORDAN X “CHICAGO” OFFICIAL IMAGES

One of my favorite memories, if I remember correctly, was when Michael Jordan dropped 48 against the Charlotte Hornets and Scottie Pippen pulled his foot up to the camera to show off the outsole of the OG Air Jordan X that he was wearing.

These pictures provide me the first opportunity to read the bottom of the Jordan X, and January 21st will provide me my first chance to own one of my favorite shoes of all time, should I have $160 and (inevitably) a couple days to sit in line before fighting off stick up kids outside the sneaker store like the “Concord” release of late last year…
