REEBOK IVERSON QUESTION MID RERELEASE

The Question was a sneaker that was meant to represent a player whose flashy style and cocky attitude was seen as not applicable to the NBA, until he won Rookie of the Year in 1996. The shoe soon became one of Reebok’s best-selling sneakers of all time, and began topping must-have sneaker lists around the country. Honey-comb shaped Hexalite cushioning became a Reebok icon and defined the shoe to those who loved to wear it.

On May 25th, the sneaker will release again for an exclusive drop in the original white and red colorway with a pearlized toe. The limited time release will then go back into the Reebok Vault, and marks the only time since 1996 that the shoe can be purchased with the original pearlized toe. You can pick the shoes up at Reebok’s online store.

DIADORA MI BASKET ‘84 SUEDE

Italian high performance footwear brand Diadora is releasing a beautiful retro pair of sneakers from circa 1984 as part of their heritage collection. The shoe was originally designed for an Italian professional basketball team, and is previewed today for the first time, the same day as another shoe designed for a basketball player who has spent some time in Italy. And though Kobe might have more clout in the basketball world, that doesn’t take away from the fact that the Diadora Mi Basket ‘84 certainly matches his shoe in beauty of design.

The premium rerelease sits in a high-top with a suede upper and with leather accents and white midsole with a gum rubber bottom. You should be able to pick up the sneaker sometime soon.

MEET RETRO BOBBY: THE TOY COLLECTING BARBER

“Retro Bobby” may have a sweet bowl cut to match his awesome accent, but that’s not where his cartoon-character-like story ends. Bobby Agren is a retro toy and game collector that also gives pretty sweet haircuts. The barber will take your old toys for money, a trade, or a haircut. And like any true collector, he places the prices of his real treasures way above what someone would pay for them until he is done enjoying them himself.

A six-minute video produced by Copenhagers is narrated by Bobby and takes place at the Copenhagen salon called Ruben & Bobby. You will find plenty of old memories on Bobby’s shelves, and even if you don’t, it’s always inspiring to see someone who has a true passion explaining why they love it, no matter what it is.
