KILLIAN MARTIN STATIONPARK - ABANDONED STATION SKATE VIDEO

Killian Martin grew up with a passion for surfing that could not be realized, with no ocean within six hours. With the absence of the means to realize this passion, the now world-famous skater combined two of his other intense skills in gymnastics and skateboarding to create a unique and irreplaceable style. The professional athlete is a skate video director’s dream come true, and he has created many well-done and artsy videos, including his recent visit to an abandoned waterpark outside Los Angeles that took the internet by storm thanks to the help of filmmaker Brett Novak.

This time the skater visits another abandoned skating playground in the historic Park Station, and director Juan Rayos was there to capture all of the action in a beautifully-edited style.

SUPREME X NIKE SB DUNK LOW 2012
Prior Supreme and Nike collaborations have created some of the most coveted sneakers ever, and a release that happens tomorrow should create similar levels of jealousy. Red full grain leather and iconic cement/elephant print paneling around the shoe calls back to the Supreme Dunk Low that is the call for celebration in this 10 year anniversary edition of the sneaker. New pictures from the brand also give a look at the black outsoles, lining, laces, and Swoosh which add contrast.
New York, London, and Los Angeles stores - as well as online chapters - receive the shoes tomorrow, July 19th. Japan receives the sneaker on the 21st.

ROLLERBLADE ATL SESSIONS BY LONNIE FRANCISCO

Blader and badass Lonnie Francisco is one of the better editor/directors that you have seen producing videos online. His latest blading video sees him and his riley bunch of friends shredding the streets of Atlanta, GA. Made possible by Rollerblade, the video by Think Tanker Lonnie Francisco displays what style can look like on four wheels.

NIKE TOKI VINTAGE

The Toki dropped in 2008 on the verge of a rise in popularity fo the chukka-style sneaker. Since its release, the model has become one of Nike’s more popular sneakers, largely because of its relatively low price. This month a new Summer colorway releases with a vulcanized sole and subtle off-white canvas upper. The pre-stained look of the midsole sets of a fleece-like liner to make the shoes as comfortable as they look smooth.

NIKE SB DUNK LOW PREMIUM MATTE SILVER/CLASSIC GREEN

After a St. Patrick’s Day pair that drew some heat from the press, Nike has put out another pair that fits the Patty’s mold in matte silver and classic green. The shoe features a “pebbled-like grey” leather upper on a white midsole. The classic green trim sets it off in this colorway that should turn heads. The SB Low fits perfectly with an Irish colorway, and the shoe should sell well after entering Nike SB retailers late last month.

1983 TONY HAWK FREESTYLE FOOTAGE

Like any other skater before him, vert legend Tony Hawk also started his storied career by trying out some sweet freestyle street skating, evidenced here by a 1983 video of the artist at work. RIDE Channel’s Kevin Stab pulls a VHS tape out of the archives to watch with the grimacing skater as they comment alongside ex-pro skater Greg Smith. The footage from a Del Mar Skate Ranch contest shows a side of Hawk that you may never have seen before.

NIKE TOKI “PASTEL” PACK

The Nike Toki has proven to be one of the brand’s most popular pairs of sneakers, if ony because of its relatively low price. Either way, the sneaker carries a compelling design, and obviously the chukka-style shoe is chalk full of versatility, with a Spring release that sees pastel hues across uniform uppers. The premium brushed suede and white vulcanized soles should draw a few more sneakerheads into the Toki trend with a release that should occur sometime this month.
