PATTA X REEBOK WORKOUT “25TH ANNIVERSARY”

In my personal favorite so far (and not just because the collaboration stems from Holland), the newest Reebok Workout colorway to celebrate the model’s 25th year is one of the more uniquely suited pairs. Amsterdam-based Patta unveils a gray and teal based pair to kick of the celebration which starts tonight at midnight.

Located in downtown Miami, “The Circle” is a place that has inspired many. None too short on inspiration, the Reebok Workout “25th Anniversary” campaign draws from this iconic location and builds on it much in the same way the rest of the series has been built on everything from moose to beer bottles. 

The shadows of the downtown skyscrapers are mirrored in the soles, with an urban feel in the speckled white on gray, and the ceremonial grounds of the Tequesta Tribe sees influence from the traditional moccasins used by the tribe.

LIMITED EDT X REEBOK WORKOUT “25TH ANNIVERSARY”

Inspired by Tiger Beer’s vintage 1986 bottle, the new Reebok Workout model in their “25th Anniversary” series features a reflective upper in brown and blue. Translucent brown is found in side flaps on the side to represent the brown beer bottle and a graduated dot print on the brown side looks like carbonation in the drink. Lastly, labels on the back give a bit of vintage feel.

Reebok has been impressing a lot of people lately with their very inspired sneakers, and this pair inspired by a moose, one of the most majestic animals in Sweden, will give the Reebok Workout a timeless feel.

Tumbled brown leather upper with a white midsole gives a supple and classy feel for the casual silhouette. Expect these kicks to drop on February 15, 2012.

SOLEBOX X REEBOK WORKOUT “25TH ANNIVERSARY”

With a drop only three days earlier, the next pair in the “25th Anniversary” line of Reebok Workouts hits on February 18th. Featuring a dark brown scale-like upper representing fish scales, this pair continues the tradition of great colorways on Reebok shoes as of late.
